CTEDS March Meeting Featuring Dr. Michael Lutter
Central Texas Eating Disorder Specialists (CTEDS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making recovery possible through education, support, and assistance for the complex mental, emotional, and physical challenges associated with disordered eating. To advance this mission, CTEDS offers a variety of educational opportunities throughout the year, helping professionals stay informed on the latest research and best practices in eating disorder treatment from leading experts in the field.
Our owner, Maggie Stenson, MCN, RD, LD, CEDS-C, serves on the CTEDS Board as Education Chair. In this role, she oversees the planning and coordination of monthly educational meetings and special events. This past Friday, CTEDS hosted their monthly meeting featuring guest speaker Dr. Michael Lutter.
Dr. Lutter is a physician-scientist specializing in eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. Since completing his MD/PhD training and Psychiatry Residency at UT Southwestern in 2007, he has published one book, 30 original research papers, and eight review articles. Today, he owns Precision Psychiatry, a private practice in Dallas, TX, where he uses genetic sequencing to better understand and support individuals with eating disorders.
Maggie had the pleasure of working with Dr. Lutter at Eating Recovery Center in Dallas from 2017 to 2019, making this opportunity to reconnect and hear about his impactful work even more meaningful. We are always grateful for chances to learn from experts who are helping advance eating disorder care. To learn more about Dr. Lutter or CTEDS, follow the links below!
