ATX Visits Empowered Treatment Center

Our owner, Maggie Stenson, MCN, RD, LD, CEDS-C, had the pleasure of attending the Empowered Treatment Open House yesterday. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces in the Austin eating disorder community and celebrate the incredible network of compassionate, highly skilled clinicians serving our area. We’re so grateful to be a part of such a supportive and thriving community.

Empowered is a locally owned eating disorder intensive outpatient program created to serve adults seeking a more intimate, clinician-designed treatment model. Their program focuses not only on healing behaviors around food but also addressing the underlying factors that contribute to those behaviors. We’re honored to spotlight organizations making a meaningful impact in our community.

Collaboration with exceptional programs like Empowered is vital for ensuring that we, as outpatient providers, can better support our clients, especially when they are transitioning between different levels of care. These partnerships strengthen the network of care and offer clients the best possible resources to achieve lasting recovery.
